Our reach on social media networks extends to prospective students, parents, current students, donors. alumni, and the general community. 91ΑΤΖζ maintains profiles on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. In addition to the main College pages, 91ΑΤΖζ also maintains profiles for athletics, Community and Corporate Training, the Foundation, and more.
Guidelines
- Individual social media profiles for academic programs are not permitted.
- Facebook groups for class collaboration must be set as private.
Appropriate content for social media
- Students in action, including class projects, photos or videos that feature students in hands-on activities
- Posts that highlight unique or outstanding student accomplishments
- Posts that highlight unique or outstanding faculty accomplishments or demonstrate the quality of our faculty
- Events that are open to the entire campus and/or community
- Resources for students
Hashtags
91ΑΤΖζ uses a series of hashtags in an effort to uniformly catalog the Collegeβs most important stories. Hashtags should be properly vetted and approved by Advancement before implementing. It is important to use appropriate hashtags that are not in widespread use by other organizations or businesses. Hashtags should be written in camel case. The following are hashtags currently in use by College social media profiles:
#ThisIs91ΑΤΖζ β This is our primary catch-all hashtag for stories and news about the College.
#91ΑΤΖζHawks β This hashtag is used by the athletics accounts to build Nighthawk pride.
#NighthawkGrit β This hashtag is used by primary and athletics accounts to tell stories of student, faculty, and staff determination.
#91ΑΤΖζGrad β This hashtag is used for graduation-related posts.

Any images, music, video and other content shared on social media must be the property of the College or obtained from a paid subscription or βfree useβ content provider. Resources taken from Google Images should never be posted. Please ask Advancement for assistance in acquiring digital assets that will not violate copyright laws.
